MPEG-2 Time Player displays the time for both live and stored MPEG-2 video.  VBrick appliances uniquely deliver atomic-clock accurate, wall-clock timecodes within the VBrick MPEG-2 video stream.  This player allows you to display the time for both live VBrick MPEG-2, and for local MPEG-2 video files that you recorded via the Soft Top Box, StreamPlayer, or other tools.  When viewing a file, the date/time of actual recording is displayed as the video plays and as you navigate it.  The program also has a built-in clip editor.  Just set a Mark-In and Mark-Out position and you can create a new MPEG-2 file that has the same timecodes as the original file. This program is for Windows and requires VBrick StreamPlayer.
